My husband Al and I have been married for over 40 years. We work together every day, we love the Lord and we love this church. We enjoy worship and actively serve together whenever we can. We have raised our family and now enjoy our grandchildren. We are excited to be members of an outward focused church that realizes children are worth the investment of time and energy, planning and resources.

Working with young boys and girls each week gives us energy and makes us tired. Boys and girls are loud, fast, honest and sweet! They are also scared, struggling, uncertain and immature. They need guidance and direction as they journey
through the maze of family, school, friends, and daily life.
 

In AWANA boys and girls are challenged and rewarded as they memorize scripture verses and are taught lessons from the Bible that bring truth, hope, certainty and eternal salvation. We consider it a privilege to lead this ministry in our community.
